About “FIGHTING through CANCER”

We work with cancer non-profits who provide grants to cancer patients to cover living expenses while fighting through this disease.

Our first event, February 16, 2025 in Manhattan, was put together by Jason Heim (of the band Bucket) and booking agent / promoter / event planner Jackie Lane (working with TJO Presents). Proceeds will go to NY Cancer Foundation.

When we were considering which non-profits to donate to, we realized that there are many benefits that donate to cancer research. There are also Non profits and government agencies that help patients with medical bills.

However, one aspect where support is lacking: financial assistance for non-medical bills.

Many patients, depending on the severity of their cancer, need to take time off work.
The lost wages create difficulty in being able to pay monthly bills.

We feel very strongly that no one who is fighting a disease should ever be in danger of losing their housing, not being able to buy groceries, or keep the lights on.

Therefore, we are donating proceeds from this Benefit to a Non profit that gives grants to patients for Non medical expenses.

We hope to build awareness of this critical need, and encourage others to donate as well.
